UK - Series 1 or 2?
Which was your fave and why? Personally I enjoyed series 1 a lot more than series 2. I thought the candidates were stronger and it was just all round a stronger show.
Opinions please. |

When series 2 started I was sure I could never like the candidates as much as I loved those from the first series. But after a few weeks I was again totally hooked. Loved Ansell in his towel, Jo, Mani versus Sharon (especially the 'versus' part) and I absolutely luuuurrved watching Syed behave like a sewer rat with complete sincerity. Does that make sense

I say two! Lots of classic moments. Remember the time when Jo kept ringing someone who was trying to get a deal, and then that person ended up hanging up on Jo?

Season 2 felt watered down though. Most of the candidates were awful. You got the feeling they were picked from a tv P.O.V, and not because they were good business people.

This one is really hard to choose from:
Series 1 was absolutely brilliant. It was the first of its kind here in the UK, used as a car crash experiment. 14 business people in one home fighting for a 6 figure salary. The contestants were good too. We had very kind and quite Raj, stubborn Paul, quitter Adele, fighter Saira. The list goes on and on. Series 2 wasn't the new of its kind, so did lack a little bit of originality from 2005. But still, it was a great series. Even though half of the contestants were crap, they did provide good entertainment. This is a bit like deciding whether Big Brother 3 was better than Big Brother 4, or otherwise (though BB4 was widely known as rubbish and boring).

I think series 1 was better, too. Saira was fantastic to watch. Wonder who we'll have on 3.
