Watching Daytime TV......

This Morning's DOI *Special*. [Friday]
I saw it for the first time this series, and what a disappointment it was compared to last year!!

No interviews with the Pros, just 2 celebs sitting on a sofa. No rinkside footage, no T&D, it was dull dull dull!

In a mo Ulrika is on Loose Women, again all focussed on the celebs so much this series.

I would like to hear an interview with the Pro Skaters please, and see more footage of the training, and hear about their careers for a change!

I think Andi Peter's programme Dancing On Ice Exclusive returns on Feb 12

Have to say this is my biggest problem with this programme say compared to Strictly Come Dancing.

Even in the main shoe the pro's are very much sidelined throughout. They barely talk to them at all. The training etc is done by Torvil and Dean and they do the talking afterwards as if the pro isn't even there. The follow up programme ignores them most of the time as well.

The pro's are just as important as T&D in my opinion, they can only do so much with each couple, but its the pro who is always there helping them through and doing everything with them over and over again.

Good thread La Rhumba! This was one of my main bugbears with DOI. They dance as a couple so they should at least acknowledge the pros choreograpy, like on SCD, and also give the pros tips on how to improve their partners.

Come on ITV, listen to us!!!

With Strictly you do learn a bit about dancing.... with this after the T & D initiall dance the rest is all about the celebs wobbling on ice. More about the pros would be good, they are discarded in favour of the daft celebs telling you how they can't do it.

Why am I watching....... you may ask??

We do complain an awful lot. But we (at least I) don't want it taken off the air!

This is the first week that I have actually watched it all the way through ..... and noticed young Fred. How shallow eh.

I don't care about the pros tbh (except Kaye's partner). It's more interesting to watch the celebrities for their views and opnions as
this is all 'new' to them, so they will have most to say.

I did wonder about whether or not Dan was gay. I also have my suspisions about Matt, and I like him alot. It would be such a waste if he was gay
