Friday 2 February 7.30 - 8pm ITV1

David's (Jack P Shepherd) full of himself as he spots Tracy (Kate Ford) in the street, but her mood's dark as she realises he's got her right where he wants her. After spending the morning playing the grieving widow, Tracy decides to pay him a visit. Offering him a car radio she tries to make out it's not a bribe but David reveals he hasn't finished with her yet as she heads to the Rovers. Drowning
her sorrows, Tracy ignores the disapproving looks, and as the alcohol kicks in she tells her appalled parents that she's had enough of playing the victim. Is Tracy about to blow?

Delighted with their new car, Roy (David Neilson) and Hayley (Julie Hesmondhalgh) discuss Becky's (Katherine Kelly) seemingly changed ways and suggest giving her the money left over from the comic sale. But Becky's not quite the reformed character they think just yet as she meets Slug in the Rovers. Slug can't see the attraction in regular work and after a few drinks Becky's starting to find his arguments very persuasive. So when he suggests injecting a little
excitement into the evening by borrowing the Croppers' car she doesn't hesitate for long.

The spark's clearly gone from Joanne (Zaraah Abrahams) and Adam's (Sam Robertson) relationship as her affair with Liam (Rob James-Collier) hots up. Joanne's clearly smitten and when Liam offers her a bit of no strings after-hours fun she can't help but resist, even though she would like a little bit more from him.

Elsewhere, Sarah's (Tina O'Brien) happy when Jason (Ryan Thomas) promises her a slap up meal for her birthday, and Chesney (Sam Aston) is finding all Fiz's (Jennie McAlpine) mothering a bit strange having being used to Cilla's harder approach.

This episode of Coronation Street is written by Martin Allen, produced by Steve Frost and directed by Pip Short. Coronation Street is made by ITV Productions.

It's nice to see that Roy and Hayley park their car rather than banishing it into the fourth dimension.

Lol I love the connors!

Loved the Tracey/Barlow bits tonight. I think Tracey should have told clare where to shove her leaflets though!

The David stuff was allright i suppose......And Adam made an appearance! Which was awful.

Didn't he have that yellow sports car and not a mini?

Overall........ 6 out of 10 Average.

An average episode tonight.

The best stuff came from Tracy & Barlows (Bar adam) and Roy/Hayley/Becky stuff. I liked the scenes with Toxic Tracy and Demon David-looking forward to seeing this storyline develop. I felt sorry for Roy and Hayley when Becky stole their car.

Joanne and Adam  Boring-hoping this paves the way for Adam's exit and Joanne can go off with Liam- a much better suited relationship and will help Joanne's character.

Sarah and Jason stuff was pure filler.

Chesney/Fiz stuff was quite good

Overall... 5/10 (No good comedy moments with Blanche or Norris )

Dull, dull, dull. I can barely work up the impetus to comment on the episode it was so uninvolving.

KF proved once more what a crap actress she is. Those scenes in the Rovers when she was "drunk" were cringeworthy to say the least.

Dull Underworld scenes.

Dull Jason & Audrey

Dull Fiz & Chesney

Becky's comment to Hayley "that colour really suits you" was nice as was Roy's decision to give Becky the remaining £100 towards her flat fund.

All in all, the worst episode for a long time.

3 out of 10.

I am beginning to think that Rita's Kabin only likes a episode of corrie if there is one liners in it you can't have them all the time in corrie.

Not at all. I do appreciate a good one liner which is well delivered but they are not the be all & end all of the programme. As I said, I found tonight's episode completely uninvolving, perhaps because the Tracy storyline which was the main focus of the episode bores me to tears.

There were some Harry Hill-worthy moments in this episode. I loved the way Claire so cheerily said 'I thought you'd like these leaflets on domestic abuse!'

The Connors are getting better.

I thought they were terribly dull at first, but the chemistry between the brothers and the elder one's wife is great.

I love the chemistry between the sister (I can't remember any names tonight) and Steve McDonald too. Nevermind Blanche and Norris, he's one of the funniest characters.

Remembering she was wearing blue, I thought it was a very cruel yet cleverly subtle jibe about Hayley's manly past that passed over the Croppers' head.

Had her scenes in the pub lasted longer, you would have seen Bekki regaling fellow high-brow snob, Slug, with her the tale of her wit.

As an aside, I wish I had taken Traci in to town like she asked. As it turned out, I spent the rest of the evening listening to Amber talk rubbish and end every sentence with "man".

Even though I really hate Kate Ford's acting, I had to laugh at her saying, "It's Leaflet Claire" in the pub!

Becky was okay tonight; I must have started to quite like her character because I was so disappointed in her when she got in that car with Slug. Her line the other day ("Going through Currys window at 30 miles an hour beats anything Alton Towers has to offer in the way of thrills") was brilliant, and I think she's developed quite a long way in a short time as a character.

I liked Ken's barbed comment about the £10,000 to Tracy. Also in the Barlow household, Adam seems to have acquired a new car. And Peter remains missing. What exactly was the point of bringing him back?

Despite a couple of decent scenes, the episode was pretty boring. The stuff in the pub with drunken Tracy was absolutely terrible because of Kate Ford's acting. It was like watching a school play. A primary school play. Unbelievable that she's in the nation's top-rated show with such a big storyline.

Sorry Rita, couldn't resist.

A ********* free episode.

Naughty Becki. However I do feel sorry for her because apart from Roy and Hayley, she's only got Slug.

Toxic is such a hateful person.
