Hello

I have been offered a xda1 by a friend for £20, Basically i would like to put sat nav on the phone are these any good or shall stick to my plan and buy a nokia 6600 or a orange spv c-500 phone to do this.

Also What's the best Sat Nav software to get??
Copilot 6, Tomtom, Route 66.

Cheers

i used to have a xda1 and it was fine for sat nav (tomtom) but you need a wired gps unit as it doesnt have bluetooth, i used the gps output of my road angel.
it can also be handy to have a pda, it is a bit bulky to use as a phone though. £20 is a good price and you woud get that back if you resell it
ive also used 6600 with tomtom and its great although remember the screen is small and the sound isnt as good as the pda.
ive used most of the different sat nav s/w but always go back to tomtom, although i use a tomtom go unit now
