unlocking phone for use in Australia
I've got a phone from Orange on a contract but want to use this phone when I'm in OZ with a network provider in Australia - is this just a simple matter of getting my phone unlocked as normal? If so can anyone recommend somewhere I can do this?
Thanks Rob |

Hi
What phone make and model do you have , I wonder if in Oz you need a Tri or Quad band phone ? When we were in Tenerefe my wife had her phone unlocked cheaply and popped in a cheap spanish vodafone sim she purchased there and the cost of phoning home was reasonable Edit :- Google says you need dual band only... scroll down the page http://www.thetravelinsider.info/roa...bandphones.htm Last edited by coopermanyorks : 03-02-2007 at 00:11. |
