Great thread. The Bust has been a part of Eastenders since it began, it's had it's fair share of ups and downs but has always managed to bounce back. We'll probably never see it's like again.

Indeed....
Given to the Queen Vic by James Willmot Brown, the QVB has seen lots over the years! If busts could talk.... She was in glorious colour until the Queen Vic fire of 92, when she became grey...until Nina Harris stupidly knocked her off the bar...then she became bronze....Peggy pushed her off the bar next, but thankfully no damage was done. She was stolen in 1991 by Grant Mitchell, and was stored in the cupboard of number 43a....she has also been taken walkies by Phil Mitchell and quite recently, Deano Wicks....when she ended up on Arthur's bench! The Queen Vic bust is only made of plastic, and several exist in the BBC Props department. She is painted gold at present |
