Lisa's one of the weaker skaters too. A lot of that alleged skating was on the toe pick rather than on the blade - so I don't call that real skating. Sure she got flung around a lot, but that's her dance training rather than real skating.
Not sure why the judges gave it such a high score when Kyran's actual blades-on-the-ice skating is so much stronger! Last edited by doctor mango : 03-02-2007 at 19:13. |

What's the highest mark they can get? Is it 5, or do they award 6 as the highest score?

I think LSL was way above the others. I think she's an assured skater and looks more elegant on the ice than Kyran. She's a dark horse

And I thought Lisa and Matt were great. Didn't like Stephen and Kristina and they really deserve to go. Kay and Fred were better, but nothing special. |

Yeah, Stephen and Kristina are the weakest skaters. So they do deserve to go. But the viewers vote as much on popularity as skating - so (unfortunately), they might just stay in.

Lol - the announcer was just saying that Emily's already lost a stone since starting this competition. Blimey - and she's still not a small girl is she (quite big up top) - must be heavy for Daniel to cart around!

I thought that was a very sweet performance from Emily. I think she could get much stronger as the weeks go on.

I think Emily's lovely and fun and likeable. But her basic skating is terrible - just above Stephen's but maybe not even as good as Kay's?

The pair spin wasn't as strong as some, but there was a lot more footwork in there - he was trying to actually skate backwards without being pushed around by his partner (again, unlike some).
How high is that quiff!? |

He was good but seemed a bit tentative and his compulsory move was a bit poor.
He can do better, think there is a lot more to come from the boy.

Nice routine from Dunc, but I do think Robin has a point. Nice skate though all the same.

My favourite was Duncan followed by LSL which I'm surprised because I'm not a fan of her character but even I can't deny that her skating was good.
