DMR-EZ25EB "What's this button for"
Wiltshire Tony

I bought the Pany and am very happy with it but I don't understand the use of one of the buttons on the remote. I've read the manual (for a change) and still don't get it?

The button in question is the one marked PLAY/x1.3.

OK so I know what play is but whats the "x1.3" do?

Can someone brighter than me please help?

Thanks

Tony

there is no mystery - it really does play the disk at 1.3 times normal, without sound. I have one on my E55 - totally pointless! Great basic recorder tho.

On mine - you have to hold the play button for 5 seconds - it does play 30% faster AND manages to give good (ie not distorted or higher frequency) sound. It's mainly useful for documentaries, and some drama, when you want to save yourself that most precious commodity - time! No good for musicals.
I use it quite a lot.
