TV toff Tara Palmer-Tomkinson has been lined up for Celebrity Fame Academy.
IT girl Tara — better known for her legs than her voice — is set to sign for the Comic Relief telly talent contest.
And it could be her chance to get her career back on track after she was axed by ITV2 as host of I’m A Celeb’s spin-off show last November.
Piano-playing Tara, 35, will face some tough competitors, though.
Among them will be Shaun Williamson, 41 — Fat Barry off EastEnders — who won Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes in 2004 as Meatloaf.
Another will be Birds Of A Feather star Linda Robson, 48, who sang the ‘What’ll I Do?’ theme tune to her BBC1 hit comedy with co-star Pauline Quirke.
Perhaps Tara will be able to get some singing tips from ex-lovers Robbie Williams, James Blunt and, er, Duncan James from Blue.
A TV insider said: “Tara will be car crash TV, she’ll be brilliant — and this should get her career back on track.
“She’s fairly musical so could do well, but is up against some good singers.” The BBC1 contest is in March.
