she has some competition from Lisa now I think but I agree she is the best right now.

I think Claire is fab, she shows no fear when she's doing tricky lifts etc. I really hope the general public keep her in. I spose I ought to vote myself, but I don't like lining the pockets of fat cats! Now if it was going to charity, that would be a different story altogether!

Clare is definitely the best; she's technically the most adept and never looks nervous or hesistant during the routine.

LSL was overrated last night. Clare did a lot more by herself.

Clare started as the best skater and hopefully she'll finish as the best skater.

I think she has competition from Lisa and Kyran. Possibly even Duncan.

The one thing that may hold Claire back from winning is that she's so good already. I reckon Kyran will win

Claire is only good because she worked so hard. I hope she is not penalised by the public because they cannot believe she could actually have reached this standard so quickly. The media would have quickly picked it up if she was an accomplished skater prior to the competition. She is just a very talented girl who obviously missed her "calling".

LSL will pull out all the stops - you can bet on it nd good luck t her I say.

I sense that she's a bit deperate that and if the public sniff that, she'll be a goner. She needs to stay relaxed.

I like Claire though. Eiether her or LSL to win so far for me (I think).

Clare is really good no doubt about it.
I didnt think this week was her best, I found the performance a bit flat.

LSL is totally overrated.

And I think we will see an underdog win it this year, watch out for Kyran and Duncan, I think they could take the crown yet, especailly Duncan, he's not the best technically but he is really likable and will have huge support, also he is improving and seems really humbled by the whole experience and isn't reeking desperation like some we could mention.

I think we could have quite a few surprises yet.

I just can't warm to Claire, I really don't understand why. I want to, cause I can see she's a really good skater, but something just doesn't interest me.

She's almost disadvantaged by the marks she's had so far, I didn't think she was quite as good this week as last but having got the same total score it's a bit hard to see where she can go from here. She was far better than virtually everyone else in week one but I'm not sure she's improving as fast as some of the others now.

I think maybe it's because Clare's presentation or, as was said on the show 'musicality' is lacking, Lisa is much better at that side of things. I hope that she can improve upon that though, because she would be dynamite then!

Yes, I'm a Clare fan too - I love the 'tomboy fearlessness' she mentioned in the first episode - very different from me, I'd still be clinging to the rail at the side of the rink!

I love watching Clare skete and I think she's coming across really well as a personality too. Apart from the obvious 'Dunc iz fit' threat I think the main dangers for her are:

1. She's so good that they'll feel obliged to keep including show-stopping moves every show (like the back flip) and she'll lose the overall fluidity and coherence of the performance (a bit like what happened to Grace on 'Cirque de Celebrite' - though Grace still won )

2. Somebody will go on the 'journey' and be rewarded for improving week on week, like Gaynor and Steffan beatig Bonnie last year.

The only thing that goes against 2 is that her obvious rivals, Kyran. Duncan and LSL are also very good already so there's not as much room for improvement as there was last year. Maybe it would have to be someone like (if miracles happen) Stephen or (more likely) Lee
