K800i sound recording probs
miss_chaos

When I record sound clips on my Sony Ericcson K800i which are over so many minutes, it won't let me save the whole clip on my PC. It will only save the first 30 sec.

But if my clip is around 3 to 4 mins it will let me save the whole clip on PC

Any ideas on what to do to prevent this?

Never had that problem? How are you saving them, I just drag and drop from one file to another.

I've tried bluetoothing them as I have a bluetooth dongle which plugs into PC and also I've tried with the wire and disc I got with my K750i phone (previous phone to K800i).

How do I drag and drop and are the files you put on pc from K800i around 6mins in length or shorter?

You need to install "all" the drivers for the K800i onto your pc. Then when you attach the lead the phone will give you the option of File transfer, Phone mode and maybe(depending on your fimware) print photos.

If you click onto file transfer the phone will go into file transfer mode and after a few seconds it will come up as an extra drive and you can drag to/from the phone and pc.
