I think Stephen would be happier if his fans don't vote for him and he goes out of the contest. I really don't think he is enjoying it.

I think he may go tonight.

I think Stephen's going to be there for a few weeks yet - I don't think he's all that bad in any case. There's no denying he's one of the weaker skaters but he's very entertaining to watch; and since it's an entertainment show in addition to a competition, I think that's good grounds to stay in .

Awww, I don't think Stephen is that bad! I think his main problem is his lack of confidence. He's very nervous and tentative on the ice.

He's a fantastic dancer and was the All-Ireland disco dancing champion when he was 14. If he could just get more confidence on the ice and combine this with his brilliant dancing, then I think he would be very very good.

I think he has improved a lot since the first week though and he is trying so hard.

I must admit that I do vote for him each week, even though I know he isn't the best He's the one I enjoy watching the most. I'm not really bothered about any of the others, apart from Kyran.

Hey Laura *waves*. I agree 100% - you put it so much better than me. I think he's getting a lot of undeserved negative press bless him; okay he's not the most natural skater in the show but, in my opinion, he's the best performer . I'd love to see him get as far as he possibly can.

Lots of love from Michelle xxxx

But surely that's not a good reason why a better and more competent skater could possibly lose their place in the competition?

Duncan James also has a big fan base, but at least he CAN put on a decent performance on the rink. Stephen looks like a middle aged dad at a disco on the rink - very ungainly and not at all entertaining in my opinion.

You see - I don't think Stephen is that bad of a skater; I admit he's possibly weaker than others, but I don't think he deserves to leave the competition yet. I think he's very entertaining and puts on some very enjoyable performances - along with Kyran and Duncan and, since it's all about entertainment, I still maintain that its good grounds to stay in .

In my opinion, yes, natural ability should be recognised and awarded - but so should improvement and attempt . Last year's results proved that the British public don't just reward competence (i.e. Bonnie and John), they enjoy the journey and are particularly favourable to those who show the greatest improvement and progress (i.e. Gaynor and Stefan). That inability to predict a winner and interpersonal variation in what consitutes an entertaining performance is what will keep the show exciting and prevent it from becoming boring .

Lots of love from Michelle xxxx
