Can the scriptwriters not think of a more original way to leave?

And was it just me or did Natalie look slightly rough sat on the sofa with Barry filling his face?!! Though can't really blame her!!

Walford must be the only place in London you can get a black cab at closing time!! You've usually got more chance of seeing Lord Lucan than a cab with its light on.

If you've ever seen the dodgy mini cab alternative we get offered round here, you'd know a black cabs the only way to guarantee actually getting home in one piece.

Did anyone notice on EE when Nita and Robbie left in the back of the cab they went past a restaurant called 'Taste of India' or summink similar??

I did notice that 5 to 10 minutes after they got in the taxi they were still in the square. Did they drive round it 5 or 6 times before they left.

Perhaps they WOULD have been better off with one of Roy's minicabs.

It still seems that anyone who leaves EE either leaves on the Tube, in a black cab or dies under the wheels of a car in the square. The only exception I can think of is Mark leaving on his bike.

Surely they can come up with another way of leaving. Has anyone ever left in the back of a bus? Or, another form of car (without being run over).

Almost rivalling the black cab exit is the big cockney funeral exit where several horses and carts accompany a body through the square

I was addicted to the old Eastenders on UK Gold a few years ago and Mary the punk left on the back of a bus after sticking a finger up to the Square!

Would be nice to see someone leave by walking out, or moving out in a removals van (Actually, I am pretty sure Debs left in a removal van after Andy was run over). Something more normal than being killed by a car.

Ricky Butcher - Hitched a lift in a lorry

Bianca Butcher - Left on a train

Carol, Alan, Sonia & Billy Jackson - In a van after been placed into Witness protection after Billy witnessed a robbery

Mark Fowler - Rode off on his motorbike

Melanie Owen - Jetted off in an aeroplane

Lisa Fowler - Gus took her to the airport in his van

Kathy Mitchell - Left on an aeroplane

Matthew Rose - Got sent to prison for something he did not do. Was realeased a few months later, to leave by walking away from Albert Square

And these are the ones I could think of that were killed but not by a car

Ashley Cotton - Motorbike accident

Tom Banks - Killed in a fire

Trevor Morgan - Killed in a fire

Ethel Skinner - Dot put her out of her misery

Audrey Trueman - Suffered either a heart attack or brain hemorage, cant remember which?

Arthur Fowler - Heart attack

Cindy Beale - Died in jail whilst giving birth

Den Watts - Was shot ....... or was he???

Eddie Royle - Was stabbed to death

Harry Slater - Died alone. Had heart attack

Jill Fowler - Died of AIDS in hospital

Looks like I was proved wrong...

Seeing as no one in EE's has ever got any money it doesnt make any sense that they all get black cabs to the airport. To get to any of the 3 main London airports you are talking a minimum of £60 and probably nearer a ton to Gatwick.

Why does no one get the tube to Liverpool St or Tottenham Hale and then the Stansted Express?!
