I was a massive fan of Steps (though hated 5,6,7,8 - it wes the next single that made me like them). They did something unique which was to provide dance routines to learn as well as the new songs.

my favourite song is Summer Of Love.

I loved that song!... Until Jack Tweed sang it on Big Brother.

Better Best Forgottten, One for Sorrow, Here and Now, Heartbeat and Summer of Love were my favourite Steps songs.

I LOVE steps, bring them back, they were the good cheesy days of pop!

H was alwayz my fave and still is since cbb!

IMO their best songs are: 1 for sorrow, deeper shade of Blue, when i said Goodbye, Heartbeat, say you'll be mine, omg and the best was its the way you make me feel!

There were some other brilliant ones off their albums too such as never get over you, since you took your love away and buzzz.

I really hope they'll get back together one day, i would be sooo happy!

This brings back memories for me during my clubbing years.

There was this guy who idolised Steps.
He who used to frequent gay bars and chase after me wearing a hideous steps t-shirt.

LOL

Steps were the best. I still have a few of their songs on my iPod.

They were my first concert when I was about 10

I STILL believe they should have released these:

Surrender
Back To You
Paradise Lost

Yeah, they did tend to record brilliant album tracks...moreso than the singles.

The only Steps song I never really liked was "Here And Now"

I also think that the album tracks were probably on the whole better than the ones they released!
I dunno why that is tho, personally my least fave was tradegy but i think that's down to the fact it got played so much i was sick of it!

I used to love Steps, still do lol.

5, 6, 7, 8 ... What a tune.

To be honest i'd never heard of them until Tragedy came along, and from there i went on to collect every single and album, seen them twice, and was heartbroken on boxing day 2001

Since then i've moved on and prefer more indie stuff but if Steps made a comeback i would be, as they say in McDs, Lovin It!

I loved Steps!!!

I'm not ashamed to admit that I have all their albums, and also saw them in concert twice!

They just don't make cheesy pop like they used to. *sigh*

i forgot all about Paradise Lost! That was definetly an underrated song! If they didn't need to release it as a single - fine! But they should have performed it live on tour! Such an underrated gem!

Paradise Lost is great. I can't really remember the other two.

I also love Summer of Love, Here and Now, and The Way You Make Me Feel.

My favourite was always Faye, she's got a good voice.
Haven't listened to their music in a while but, I do like "Words Are Not Enough"
