Leaving HC - box collection?
Just cancelled HC and they asked me to be in on the date it finishes for an engineer to collect the box and remote
what happens if i'm not there? if it's cancelled then why couldn't i post it back? i am not spending 3 hours waiting for them to turn up! anyone had similar thing?? |

They tried to arrange a two-hour appointment for me. I told them I wouldn't wait in for two hours but they could give me a one-hour window. They wouldn't but said they would send out an envelope for it to be sent back. However, I said it would have to be recorded, and I wouldn't be liable for any loss. They didn't say anything to that...
I'm calling back this week. I'll let you know if I get a final answer. |

HC are trying to charge me £120 for the box despite the fact that they failed to pick up the box as arranged.

They're picking mine up between 7-9am. Seems fair enough to me.

They ended up giving me a three hour appointment slot, but that's in fact OK, as it's on the date I'm having cable installed.
