Couldn't believe Richard and Judy tonight. Both of them saying how on earth did she not win and it should have been her and Louise in the final.Emma nodded when Madely asked were you surprised not to win!!!!!

Judy said I didn't watch the final, who on earth wants to watch 2 sportsman in the final , I don't.
Madeley made a tit of himself as usual by asking Emma if she ever got turned on by dances. Cringeworthy stuff.

It was insulting to both Matt and Mark, Emma's comment about how she "understood" how people voted because of the journey.....

And I agree - I cannot abide that sanctimonious, supercilious pair! Get me and the big words!

I didn't like the interview at all.

Judy saying the final was tedious. For me it was the most exciting final of the four series but thats just my opinion.

Try watching yourselfs for an hour Richard and Judy then you will understand what tedious means.

Or fallen into the crack of Judy's exceeeeeeeedingly inappropriate cleavage Really glad so many people felt the same as I did about that interview - who even cares what R&J think about anything?! Particularly when they are being crass, stupid and just plain wrong. They are intensely irritating and obviously believe their own publicity a bit too much. They are not TV's best loved couple. (That's Vincent and Louisa/Flavia - or Mark and Karen, or Ian and Camilla, or Lilia and Matt - you get the idea!)

I look at it this way it could be worse they could have been on SCD - Can't believe Judy bitched about the final and interesting comments about Louise being in the final when Richard said to Vincent yesterday that it was the last dance not clicking that caused her to go. I hate watching them

I agree it was a cringeworthy interview - I lost interest as soon as Richard started off down the dodgy road of being 'turned on' by dancing partners (I reckon he's trying to decide whether to do the show himself).

BUT - I was pleased to hear them say, fleetingly, that they thought Louisa should have been in the final. I totally agree.

I can also see where Judy's coming from about two sportsmen in the final making it a bit dull. Or maybe it's because I lost a lot of interest in the final after Louisa went.

Personally, I think they should have kept 3 couples in the final. There were too many dances for two couples to do, i thought.

As for R&J - I used to like them, but since they've come back on air this time they've really annoyed me! And Judy's outfits are getting increasingly bizarre

I agree SCD should revert to 3 couples in the final.

The workload of 5 dances was ridiculous, watching it you felt like it was more a case of who had the stamina to finish.

At this rate, it will only be sports people who make it to the end.

As much as I loathe Madely, if he does do it, we can look forward to him getting a pasting off Craig and Arlene.
Then with any luck, he'll throw a strop a la Brendan and storm off the live show, threatening to sue Craig.
One can but dream

But the thought of him doing SCD just makes me feel ill - I would need therapy before watching it!

But you are right - Craig laying into him would be good!

And for what it's worth - I also think it would be better to have three in the final - however I do NOT think it was any where near tedious! I better not meet Judy on the street!

I do tend to get a bit defensive when the likes of R&J slag off my fav. show as they are not particular fans.

'Tedious' it most certainly wasn't.

It will be interesting to see if anybody including the judges get a word in with him as he never shuts up long enough to listen to anyone.
Fireworks are guaranteed.

I think that's why he always reminds me of some silly old woman (no offence to silly old women of course - am one myself ) He is an appalling listener - which is why he'd be a dreadful SCD candidate!

Btw - did I miss R&J's daughter on the prog tonight? Makes me SO cross when these media types foist their offspring onto us. Two words - Peaches Geldof Altho', Claudia W is the daughter of two eminent journos, but she's talented and funny so I'll forgive her

So I think it's the general consensus here that we splat our gracious hosts with the custard pies?

Pretty bad form to be so contemptuous of the finalists to one of the losers. And Emma, dear, people voted for them because they liked them and their dancing better than you and yours, end of.

There's nothing intrinsically tedious about two sportsmen being in the final; and as for who wnated to watch that - several million people apparently, so I don't suppose R&J were missed.

There are simply no words in the English language strong enough to convery how utterly frightful I find R&J. I'm afraid I have never liked them, because they have always struck me as exceedingly biased for/against individuals - bad journalism and not remotely proffessional. Sure, have opinions: we all do, but I've always had the feeling that Judy in particular (if she feels strongly about something or someone) always tries to foist them on other people, and I think really one should be neutral when interviewing people...

Utterly ghastly. I hope Richard does go on Strictly. I want to see him get lower scores than Quentin.

For once in my life I was home in time to see them - fuming at that interview, Mark was good from day one, Matt was great in ballroom, far better then Emma and Louisa beat her in both disciplines
