Ok i am scared stiff that torvill and dean will retire for good after this tour and because i can't really go to see the tour (i'll be in france when it is on!) I'm really panicking that i will miss them skate together for the last time And i'll be kickin myself in years to come !!!
At the moment i actually would consider not goin to france except for the fact its already paid for !!!!

They have said that depending how this series goes, they may be back for a third. They aren't doing the Aussie show this year, so they do get a decent break between the end of the tour and the start of possible series 3.

Although T & D are the dogs nuts, I think that the show can survive without them. I would like to see Karen Barber & Nicky Slater take over as they did take over from T & D in competitions & Karen does help with the training already.

Well firstly I don't think that would work as Nicky and Karen aren't exactly on the best terms at the moment! And your right, the're could be plenty of similer DOI shows without T&D in them now because they started the ball rolling, but I don't think the show would have the same impact on audiences. The main reason DOI started in the first place was because T&D wanted to come out of retirement and that drew in an audience in itself, without people ever having seen the show before. Something tells me that that the show's popularity might go down a far bit without them in it! (Mainly because people seem to under- estimate T&D's popularity even after all these years.) I don't think it would be the same at all and I would'nt be into a show without them in it (I'm a major T&D fan! ) But then, that's just my opinion, i'm sure others might disagree
