I still dont have a 3g phone, still use an old Nokia 6100. Thing is I'm not that bothered. I only use my phone primarily for calls and texts, with only the occasional picture message. I really dont have time to w*nk around with music and video stuff.

So, does anyone else not have a 3g phone....and if so what is it?

I have a Sony Ericsson K750i and a Nokia 3310. The Sony is my main phone but use the 3310 when I fancy a change.

I don't even use my camera, video and music on my mobile much! So I'd definately NOT benefit from having a 3G phone.

I have a Nokia 6230i and a k750i. I don't need a 3G phone I mainly call and text and thats all.

I use my camera now and then. Can't be bothered with all that music and video calling crap.

I wonder how many people with all these 3G phones actually video call other people? I bet it's not that many...

I stick with my trusty Nokia 6310i. It's good quality, is built to last and has the added benefit of Bluetooth.

SE W800i here. I only use the phone for calls and texts. And the lovely MP3 player for when walking. If video calls were included in my monthly allowance I might try it but I cant see myself using it much really.

Me and the GF both have webcams but when we talk on skype we dont bother using them. Well occasionally we do

I don't see the point of video calling - what I use 3G for is surfing the net on my phone, rss feeds, email etc which all benefit from it T-Mobile's Web'n'walk tarrif is great for this.

Oh, and I have 3G coverage at home and little 2G coverage so the 3G is essential

Same here, I've got 3's X-Series add-on and I'm never offline!

I also get bundled video minutes, but I have to admit it's a rare month when I use all of them.

Currently have a Nokia 7250i, had it almost 2 years. Will be upgrading to the Nokia N95 when it comes out, but this will only really be for the GPS on it, as I will be travelling alot soon.

I've had 3G phones for nearly 3 years now. Only problem is I don't have 3G coverage near me
I get 50 Video mins as part of my call package but have only ever made 3 video calls.

I'd love 3G covergage as I use my phone for email and web browsing. Laptop doesn;t work all that well with the accelerated dialup. Some pages take just as long as 28k connection.

Also it would make my life a hell of alot easier if I did get to use my video mins. I end up providing technical support for colleges and being able to see what fnck ups they made would speed things up!

HSDPA is the way forwards imo! if you are going to get a new phone i would seriously recommend getting one that is HSDPA compatiable now!! the mobile internet is entering into a new era

HSUPA also is on the way!

QFT, nothing quite like browsing on the Internet with HSDPA speeds.

As for video calls, never really taken off in the UK, the service providers are making money from people who download data instead, thats why its so expensive!
