How come CPW don't deal with vodafone anymore?

I think it's the only network i can get coverage with at home.

Because Vodafone decided to pull out of the CPW's crappy service.

I've read reports that say they've kissed and made up now though.

It's nothing to do with that, it's just CPW is getting so huge and is going into telecoms and competing with Vodafone. So Vodafone decided that as CPW were now a serious competitor they should make them competition rather than a partner and assist in further growth, which would make them bigger.

They do deal with them now, it was only a temporary split.

There was a reason Shoddy service and Vodafone didn't want to be connected with the company whilst it was like that.

The article linked by the previous poster even tells you the two companies "made-up".

I wish Vodafone had stuck by this deal. Infact if all the networks just pulled the plug on Carphone Warehouse & Phones 4U, the high street would be a better place.

This would be funny as both these businesses would be knackered, they know it and that's why they are trying to diverse.

Working for a network, I would only ever buy direct (personal preference). The stories you hear (yes only one side) about dealers dont paint the greatest picture. But on the other side you also hear about excellent service and dealers going the extra mile.

Whats everybody else think?

Think T-Mobile staff one is any at half price and unlimited half price for friends and family!!!!!

Tmobile Staff Plan is a staff version of Flext where you get a new handset and £50 worth of credit as well as call tunes etc and web and walk free of charge every month.


You also get unlimited connections to friends and relations at half price.

Thanks for telling. Sounds reasonable. Sorry for being a div, but I did look at flext but cant see which tariff it's similiar too. Could you just point out what extra you are getting from them as a staff member?

The staff one is not available to customers, you get £50 of credit and web and walk, I suppose its more like the flext 25, 12 month with w+w but free of charge instead of paying £25 or a bit extra!

You get video calling included in it, as well as the caller tunes free of charge.

If you dont mind me askin, but why the interest! lol

Thanks danger. Just interested thats all just wanted to see how tight/generous they are with staff. It looks like a good deal especially with the video calling included.
