Only found that info out on The Blue Room DOI forum today - surprised ITV don't give us more of this type of information - they have been skating together since juniors and married for many years.

It says Maria's husband is called Andrei - maybe he is the same Andrei who partners Clare - wouldn't surprise me.

yes the skater information is very poor again this year to post the profiles on blueroom had to get my own info.

Maria Filipov is definately not married to the Andrei on the show.

She is married to another Russian Andrei, not involved in DOI and they live in Australia.

Andrei who partners Clare is married to an English girl named Susie.

Maria is Bulgarian, and the Andrei on this DOI, who was also in the Dutch DOI recently, and appears in Hot Ice regularly, is Ukrainian, and his life and work is based in the Uk and Europe. As Maria's life and work is based down under, where she also coaches with her husband, I doubt very much a marriage to Andrei Lipanov would be successful, as they'd never see eachother!
