My experience of Argos for 20 years or so was great, then I had problems with a dog basket that was badly stitched together. It was 3 months old and a hole was getting bigger and bigger in it. I went to the store looking for an exchange, but I was refused. I spoke to the manager, she told me if the fault was there I should have returned it in 16 days etc.
I know going by the act if something is faulty I should have been on good ground - but after half an hour in there and with the huge queue's in the store I gave up. I just resolved not to shop there again, and now over 12mnths later I never go near the place (before I used to do a lot of shopping there, especially for Christmas presents)
We need 'Index' back for some healthy competition. I can't believe the agro I got from the Manager ! and over such a low value item.
The moral is if in doubt take it back in 16 days, no matter what. Or just avoid argos. Thank god Amazon do electronics.
