The BBC have confirmed the students for Celebrity Fame Academy

Ulrika Jonsson
John Thompson
Ruby Wax
Jo Brand
Fearne Cotton
Paul Ross
Will Mellor
Kwame Kwei-Armah

PLUS

There is also a mystery student whose identity will be revealed later this week.

But while all nine celebrities are hoping to enter the Academy, only eight will make it.

The seven celebrities with the most votes are guaranteed a place in the Academy. They must then pick one of the remaining two to join them and the other will be sent packing.

AJ, I wouldn't call the NoTW a newspaper, but it had better be DG. Otherwise, who can I support? It'd have to be Fearne or Kwame from Casualty. But I dont know him at all from the box, so he may be great fun or a total plonker. At least we KNOW that Paul Ross will be the latter.

If Audley Harrison is getting them fit, is Kev coming back or is he busy being a dad? Does anyone know if his partner had a little boy or girl?
It wouldn't be the same without Kev's early mornings.

I think Kev is going to be there. Audley Harrison is just doing a one-off thing? Kev's certainly been in the promotion material with his red nose on Dunno about the baby...she was due in January so surely................

I really hope Kevin will be there. I'm so looking forward to his classes especially with Jo Brand being one of the students

Kevin was certainly promoting it on RI:SE the other week.
With all due respect, some of them aren't very fit at the moment, so perhaps I'll be able to do a few exercises along with them!
But I hope they don't spend HOURS on getting fit - I'd like to see something Interesting with my breakfast!
Perhaps they won't have to get up as early as the students did.
Press mentioned singing & dancing - perhaps much of the exercise will be dancing rather than gruelling stuff.

With Audley making an appearance....I don't think so. More like they will be knocking bits out of each other

The BBC (C)FA site mentions Kevin & dancing (or did); so perhaps Kevin will do the dancing & choreography and the boxer some gym stuff? (I remember the FA gym had at least one punchbag.)

Quote From BBC Site:-
As tutors, England rugby ace Laurence Dallaglio and boxer Audley Harrison will be pushing their fitness levels to the limit while hypnotist Paul McKenna will help them overcome stage fright.
Musical impresario Lord Lloyd Webber will also be popping in to give advice.
Celebrity hairdresser Nicky Clarke will give the stars a make-over and Ready Steady Cook presenter Ainsley Harriot will be cooking.

QUOTE From Celeb FA Site:-
The Fame Academy teachers return
It looks like the stars are going to get knocked into shape too, with dance teacher Kevin threatening 6.30am jogging sessions around the grounds of the Academy.
And if the rumours are anything to believe, a certain handsome footballer could be entering the mansion!

I wouldn't mind the hairdressing & cooking, but think I'll give the workouts a miss!

Doesn't sound like there'll be much time for them just to sit on the sofa's and have "a chat and a sandwich" and that's usually the most interesting bit!

Some interesting photos of the outside of the house from the road, the press tent & lorries & equipment you don't normally see.

Or accoustic sessions....I wonder if any of them play instruments or have other hidden talents. You never know they might make up one of their own songs

Very interesting photos. So where are the celebs going to be performing if the eviction tent is in the back garden?

Good question, I haven't the faintest idea!
The ballroom/dance studio is the biggest room I think, but wouldn't be large enough for an audience.
How big is the studio? Too small for everyone to fit in, I guess.
Any Ideas?

Theres quite a good article in this weeks RT. Carrie describes the difficulties of managing the Celebs unlike the students who were "wet behind the ears"
It also says on one of the singoffs:"Live from Television Centre", but I dont know whether that's just for the penultimate show when quote "Three students become two, and the winner will be announced live on Comic Relief tomorrow night"

Some sort of stage in the garden? There would be plenty of room for that but then you wouldn't want an audience traipsing through the grounds. And would they get an audience every night? Maybe we've to vote on them singing in the piano room? The dance studio is the biggest room but you don't get a wonderful sound in there do you?

So many questions and only 3 days to go

Any Londoners out there? How far is Television Centre from the mansion?

A fair way (several miles), esp allowing for traffic (I think the journey's outside of the congestion charge area!!!)
