unlocking my orange phone to use another 3g card
Hi I got a message through today from Orange saying that once I have unlocked the phone not to use a non 3g sim card as it will only work with a non 2G - as I've already got a 3g card I was a bit miffed - can anyone tell me if this is them being a bit funny? why can't I use someone else's 3G services?

You can use someone else's 3G servies. They are just telling you to make sure you use a 3G SIM card, whether it be O2, Vodafone, T-Mobile etc.
