ORANGE!! Arghhhhh!!

I would like to know if any other Orange users have had problems with them??

In November they took out 2 direct debits from my account because of a computer error, since then they are saying I haven't paid them the outstanding balance.

They actually have now taken the money 4 times, refunded 3 of them but kept the £109.94. I have proven to them with Bank Statements that I have paid the bill but till this day the saga is still going on. They have now cut me off & I have spoken to a gang of call centre muppets!

I'm so angry it hurts, has anybody else had the same problem?

When i had problems with orange I called oftel, the sent them a letter the next day giving them ten days to sort it out and they did.

They are not governed by oftel but they sure seem to shit themselves when oftel get involved.

I always find that writing complaint letters addressed to the Customer Services Manager has always worked for me in the past.

Bypass the call centre and go straight to the person who can best assist you. Put all the details in a straightforward, calm, non-threatening letter, mention that you've forwarded a copy to Oftel and give it seven days.

Address details can usually be found on the website of the company concered, along with addresses for Oftel etc.

And then at the end of the letter, express your disatisfaction with their slow response, mention your lost airtime etc. and ask what they can offer in way of compensation. Should get a few months line rental thrown in I expect

Happy writing.
