As a miniscule voter (about 3 times I think) I'm curious to hear how much other people voted? Now the phone bills have come in how much do you estimate you voted?
Dare you face the truth?

<--- still in denial here!

I'm just glad that my bills are online, so I don't have paperwork laying around to remind me!

Snippy is still in denial also!

The payment comes out by Direct Debit and I shredded the bill immediately. I didn't even open it, I couldn't face looking at it, was too ashamed.

Fortunately OH leaves all the finances to me so I haven't had to admit to him just how obsessive I became!

I am carrying such a burden of guilt.

I only voted on a Pay as You Go 'phone - so no retrospective bills. However, I would say that I was paying - and going - about ten times more than usual!! Worth every penny

Same here Snippy, out by DD, and I don't have to think about it... Even now I think goodness, what did those two do to me?!

I pay the phone bill so I'm paying for my obsessive voting for Matt and my mum's more rational voting for Louisa.
Just pay it, don't check or think about how detrimental SCD can be on the bank balance. Then forget about it, well until October that is
My aim for next series is to get a Saturday job that means I don't watch SCD live or gives me free access to someone elses phone

Hid my phone bill as soon as it came in. DD took care of that!! Split between mobile and house phone. Don't want to add it up. And shan't.

only when I looked my phonebill did I calculate I'd made hundreds of calls

It all came back to me as a drunken haze - frantically hitting redial, screaming at my family to call, and the sheer relief when Mark and Karen got through!

At least my money wasn't wasted - they won! YAY!

Bills got shredded - 4 pages of calls instead of one, and all to the same number, mostly in groups of 10 call at a time

Thank you so much you have all been such a comfort to me. I am a big big brendan cole fan (please do not condemn me for being a brendan cole fan I know some people do not like him and I accept that) and have of course had a double whammy with scd and just the two of us. God knows how much I spent voting for him and claire during scd but just the two of us was even worse. I also spread the vote over our landline phone and my mobile phone more on my mobile phone the voting cost was far higher I am sure it was in three figures on my mobile phone and gave brendan as many votes as I could. Plus I had quite a bit to drink on the night of final too it was the only way I could think of to ease the pain if he did not win which of course he did not. Anyway guys sorry to bore you with my story. (I am very sad indeed I know)

I was voting on the mobile with pay as you go. The need to top the phone up is not has much as when the programme was on.

I dread to think how much money I spent voting for Louisa and Vincent - especially in their final week when I was having a major panic I'd do it all again though, they were worth it

I was in Amsterdam one week and even tried to vote from there! It wouldn't work though (probably a good thing!)

I have a pay-as-you-go phone too and don't know how much I spent!

And now I've got to do it all over again for Will in the Brits! (Text WILL to 80889 - Please ) He is nominated for Best British Single for All Time Love and really deserves it. He has been nominated for five years running!

Phone bill hit the mat today, my first thought was of this thread and with trepedation I opened the envelope.

Pleasantly surprised, might even leave the bill around for the husband to see. He thought we spent much, much more.

I voted for:

Nicole and Nicholas, mainly because Nicole is a legend and didn't deserve to get someone so crap in both series.

Matt and Carol cos they rocked.

Brendan and Claire, ditto the above and I didn't like how they were treated, and did think she could dance so voted more.

And of course Karen and Mark, no need to mention that.

It wasn't quite as bad as I thought it might be!

About £ 100 on the mobile and £ 30 on the landline - SCD was the only number on the bill though!

Hey ho worth it in the end!
