I've noticed alot of networks offer their 3G phone customers a selection of tv channels for around £5 per month. I'm just wondering if you have to pay data charges on top of this.

I think with Vodafone you only have to pay the £5 subscription fee because the Mobile TV service is intergrated into its Vodafone Live service.

So I take it the monthly sub on most networks then is just to access the channels (what they class as UNLIMITED). Then you have to pay the expensive data charges ontop of that. So watching an episode of The Simpsons on SKY One Mobile could end up costing you a few quid.

What sort of bit rate are we talking about while streaming these channels?

I'm not so sure about the Other Networks but when Vodafone were running the Test Service for Mobile Tv they didn't charge data costs to watch any of the Programmes they were showing so I think its just the Subscription Fee

What about the Sky Anytime on Mobile service? Is it free if you already subscribe to Sky premium channels, or do you have to pay extra?
