Is it possible to record a programme from sky onto a freeview hdd? I wanted to get a pvr but only if I can record from my sky source. Obvously I wouldnt be able to watch a different sky channel but just to record it.

Not on a freeview PVR no (if i am wrong someone will no doubt pick me up!)

However, DVD recorders will record anything that you feed into them via SCART and some of these have HDD on them, so it's possible doing it that way.

I already have a DVD recorder so could just do that for my sky programmes. Thanks anyway though

I meant that you get a DVD recorder with built-in Hard drivePVR.

Therefore, you can use the Hard drive to record the programmes but you're not just tied to Freeview.
