Is there anything wrong with buying a refurbished phone?? I just wondered because they seem to be cheaper, and does anyone know of any cheap places to buy them (new-ish phones) other than ebay. I tried one website and it offered a refurb d900 for £249.99!!! It's 50 quid less for a brand new one on O2!

I'd stick with a contract and a cash-back offer, so long as you're dilligent about sending in your bills it will be the best and cheapest way to get the phone you're after.

Unless they are charging for the refurbishment, labour and parts?

Just make sure the phone comes with a guarantee, or take out insurance. In my experience phones can and will go wrong, whether refurbed or not, and its nearly always costly.

I my experience, refurb products always seem to last longer than "new" ones.

I agree, its because they have been thoroughly checked out.
Most refurbished phones are from 'change of mind' returns anyway.
