I miss everything, roll on october!

I miss everything about it. Talking to friends about it, gathering in someone's house on a Saturday night to watch it and shout at the tv, the glamour, the hunky men, the gorgeous dresses (apart from Tess's) and so on and so on. And even, dare I say it, the dancing

Roll on October. Have barely bothered with Dancing on Ice as it's just not the same!

I was a bit sad when it finished, but look at it this way. If it didn't finish we wouldn't have anything to look forward to would we?
This week is half term, another few weeks and it will be Easter and when the kids go back after Easter, the term is known as the summer term. Get the school summer holidays over, and the Christmas adverts start and before you know it, SCD is back on the telly!
When you are racing through your 50's as quickly as I am, the time rushes past too quickly I can tell you!

In addition to everything about Mark Ramprakash, I really miss all the clips of the training. They always seemed to have a lot of fun rehearsing (not just Mark and Karen, I mean everybody). ITT helped to build up the tension for the big night on Sat and the fact that it's live, with a live band just makes it one of the best things on the telly. I miss Claudia too.

Getting annoyed if I'm stuck in meeting at work and it looks like I'm not going to make it home for 6:30.

Finding out who is dancing what and to what music

Praying that 3rd on the leaderboard will be enough to get them through

Wondering which pointless celeb will be on the sofa, and whether they will have actually watched the show

Saying "Why are the first again? So and so haven't gone first yet..."

Hopes of catching a glimpse of Brendan during ITT every night
The rushing home for ITT even thought the video was set and it usually worked...

Not missing:

The long wait between main show and results show
The phone bill
The fear of getting a speeding ticket rushing home for ITT
The worry Brendan wouldn't get through to next week's show
People phoning during the show

Grateful for:

This Forum still going strong even though SCD and ITT not on!
Being able to go out on a Saturday night without resenting the fact that I'm expected to go out by non SCD addicts!
Other friends who were prepared to text me results of show when I had to go out!
