is it just me.......
...thats wrong here.
Well yesterday i called 3 who ive been with for around 6 months now to cancel the X-Series i had as i didnt use it as much as i thought i would. Anyway when i first joined 3 i took the video talk and text 1100 package which also included a nice 512mb access to the net. but when i took out the x-series last month they had to disable the 512mb net access as it wasnt compatible or something with the x-series. All fine i though till yesterday they decided to tell me that thye couldnt put the 512mb access back on because they dont do that anymore then informed me that if i wanted net access then i had to pay an extra £2.50 for it Now to me that looks like im basically paying twice for access to the net and only getting 10mb instead of the 512mb im actually paying for in the first place. So i asked to be dropped to another package that included net access in the price but was told they cant do it as i need to be 9 months into my 18 month price plan then to boot i will have to pay £25 to downgrade So my question here is, am i wrong for thinking im paying twice and should just shut up and pay or are they taking the piss here?? Cheers

Cheers ![]() My opinion is that anyone who in the space of six months has changed tariff twice really needs to do their homework before doing anything. Before making any commitment you should always ask yourself Do I really want to do this? What happens if I change my mind? My advice is to sit down and think about what you want out of the phone. Write it down and do some research to see which tariff/network matches your minutes/texts/data requirements. Once you've found it then ask to change to it. If you've got to wait three months and pay £25 quid, then that's tough. If you've got to wait till your contract ends and change provider then that's tough too. You signed up to the contract after all. |

Im pissed as im being charged twice for something. Did you actually read what i posted? Last edited by neo6776 : 15-02-2007 at 14:05. |

Obviously I read your post because I answered your question.
Honestly. You added x-series to your account removing the 512mb, therefore by definition you changed your tariff! Now you want to remove it and CHANGE it back to what it was before, but its no longer available. You admit you only "added the xseries to my account to see what (it? was?) like", did 3 offer you a trial? If not you can't complain. If they did (and didn't mention that you wouldn't be able to return to your previous price plan) then you have cause for complaint. I would have checked exactly what I was changing and the consequences, but given that you didn't then you would be better off taking my advice. |
