Just got this new phone......

Does anyone know if there is a way of copying a photo sent in a MMS message to the files section?

I've looked through ALL the menus, and I can't find a way of doing it....which seems abit strange.

There's a files section for photos, but from the message section, there doesn't seem to be a way of saving the photo attachment.

I would have thought this was a common requirement/feature. This is my first cam/photo capable phone, so am not sure if any other phones can do this.

All comments welcome

Hi ironeagleuk,

When you're viewing the message is there any options to click.

Some phones allow you to select objects/files within the message to allow you to save it.

If not, you can forward the picture message to your email address so you can save it on your PC

I've read the manual!!!

I can't find any option to click

There is a clipboard, but I can't seem to select the photo to copy it.

Have just had a fiddle again, and pressed the down button, and it highlighted the photo....pressed the "OK" (middle button), and showed me the pic in an image viewer which then had options to Zoom In, Zoom Out, SAVE, Use as Wallpaper, Send By, Details, Add to contact, Change View or Format Card.

So have now managed to Save it to my photos folder. Thanks for your help midlands_lad.

The manual gives you the basics, but doesn't give you all the details and options available.....it's amazing what you can find out just by fiddling
