I remember when Nicky said Kyran was the best skater in the competition (if I remember rightly).

Do some judges have favourites? Do they purposely give the 'competition' for their favourites lower marks than deserved?

Some of the scores tonight really baffled me. Kyran's scores were too high, IMO and Lisa wasn't given high enough scores.

What do you lot think?

That was just an example.

The point I'm trying to make is that any judge could have a favourite & purposely give good skaters lower marks.

That's why you have five judges though so that one person's bias does affect the overall result.

And I don't think it has since the leader board seems fair based upon what we've seen tonight.

Well it seems fairly fair, because it's not like all the judges are going to favour one person.

Seems like Kyran and Emily are faveorites of the judges to me

Kyran was good but not as good as last week ans Emily nearlt falls and is carried round the Ice yet both get marks higher than they deserve

Ah yes, I even started a thread on this about Emily. It was a very shoddy performance overall from her and I couldn't see how they could justify giving her higher marks than Kay who not even considering the accidents put in just as good a performance in my opinion.

I wouldn't be surprised if they discussed things in the bar on a regular basis.
