Corrie shoot in Whalley Range yesterday

I got home at 1615 last night to find a Corrie scene being recorded at the end of my road, the junction of Caistor Close/Alexandra Road South in Whalley Range, Manchester.

It was a scene involving the two coppers, Emma and Janices bloke. Looks like they were attending a road traffic accident. A neighbour said they had earlier been see recording at the Southern Pub, so maybe it's a drink driving story line?

Then when I went to Asda at Eastlands at 1900 last night, there was more recording going on on the Mancunian Way.

Maybe, or Janice's bloke Mick is the guy she has the affair with, as it is rumoured she will have an affair with a fellow copper soon.

My mum told me the other day (honestly) that Curly gets killed in a car crash and Emma and Ashley get together. A mate in work also told me that the bloke (it is a bloke, isn't it?) that plays Ashley gets to use his real voice "in character".

I think we'd have heard by now if Kevin Kennedy were leaving.

The guy who plays Ashley was on This Morning a few weeks ago, and he was saying he is slowly getting rid of 'the voice'.

What does he sound like in real life? If his voice is different from Ashley's, it must be really difficult putting on the false one all the time.

Does this mean he'll stop saying things like "Lickle" and "bockle"?

His real vice isn't really much different. It's a bit deeper, but that's about it

It could well be part of the rumoured "Hillman crash."

We'll have to see...

Well if his only vice is a deep voice then I'm sure he'll go to heaven!!
