Let it rock --- the Bon Jovi Appreciation Thread
Yeah, I know: me again with my bloody appreciation threads!
But come on: someone out there must be a Bon Jovi fan! Their albums have been consistently good since they broke commercially with "Slippery when wet", and they haven't looked back since. They're certainly one of my top five bands, and could teach a lot of so-called bands of today a thing or two! Any comments? TH |

The thing about Bon Jovi is that they don't pretend they're something they're not. They have a formula, it works and they stick to it, with the result that you know pretty much in advance what you're going to get when you buy one of their albums.
Not like Robbie Williams, for instance, who I did like before he got all swingy and then beatboxy, experimenting with new sounds. I love all the BJ albums, including both sides of the solo efforts, Richie's and Jon's. Their current album "Have a nice day" is superb! TH |
