Here are the new phones from Ericsson, due the T68i later this year. I may hold out for 3G.

Top and bottom look ugly, saw the top one in the look, and it looked awful, but ,middle one looks OK.

Why does it matter what it looks like ? It's a block of plastic that sits in your pocket.

Looks are very important.... its the first thing i look for when buying a phone... then i look at the nice ones and compare features......

But you still haven't told me why looks matter. I couldn't give a hoot what the phone looks like. Very few people are going to see it, and I don't spend any longer looking at it than I have to. I look at functionality and size. I don't even consider looks.

It's a COMMUNICATION device, not jewellery.

I would not want to be seen or associated with an ugly phone, same as i will not buy a 3650, its got more features than my 7650, but its ugly!

When you go out on the pull, whats the first thing you look for? Good looks? When you buy a car, you choose a colour.. why? its looks again, if it looks ugly i will not be happy with it, and i would be ashamed to show it in public...

Most phones have almost the same features, but what draws you from one to another? Looks.... (of course brand may do too)

I'm lost.

Well, you only commented on the looks of that phone. I looked at its features.

And no, I don't choose men for their looks. The most striking thing I noticed about my boyfriend when I first met him was his impecable manners, and his considerate attitude. If I had to worry about what my phone looked like or what my car looked like, I may as well roll up and die.

So you would not care if you went into work the next day looking like a scruff? Yes it has some nice features such as 65 thousdand colours, a big improvement over the 256 Colour of the T68i, and have some nice talk time , but the looks just spoil it!

To be honnest the 7650 is one of the worst looking handsets on the market, if you use it to pull then good luck. Never had a customer buy or even contemplate a 7650 on looks, "it's a big hideous brick" being the usual remark, but it sells on the nice screen and built in camera, or features as we call them.
The p800 does better but is more of a "nice looking brick".
The moto v50 is still seen by joe public as a very nice looking phone, so i'll swap you a v50 for your 7650!

the 7650 looks "Professional", but we are not hear to discuss this, it would ruin Regazza's thread. You use your phone to pull? I use "me" not technology....... but the boyfriends i have gone through since having the phone have liked "playing with it".

I have as yet to see a Motorola phone i like the look off, other than my C520 from many years ago!, and that really was a poo phone, but at the time it did most of the things needed. We are going to see more "bricks" as phone will have to go "big" again to fit a decent screen on that you can see! I think the only time phones will go small again is when the screen covers the whole of the front of the phone and the buttons are "virtual".

Yer , but it will cost a pretty penny + the fact 3s price plan is either £50/month or £80/month on contract

In my opinion the phones look quite stylish and have every feasible technology you could work for. SE phones offer more features, better batteries and overall better phons for better money than Nokia now do.

Agreed. After having a T68i, I wouldn't have a Nokia phone now.
