Sorry if this is a stupid question, but i've just recently got digital - will I be able to watch the FA live streaming this time, or do I need some special service to be able to do that?

I have been wondering just the same thing as I only got Sky at the end of Fame Academy. I can't remember now how I used to get the live stuff so I've just been experimenting but can't find anything so presumably it hasn't started yet if it's going to...maybe tomorrow hopefully
You'd probably have to just press the red button on one of the BBC channels and find it from there.
Why they can't just put it on BBC 3 all day, like E4 do the Salon I have no clue. They don't show anything on that channel until 7 PM, so why don't they use it? Most people are probably put off at the idea of having to press a red button and search through all the options just to get a live feed up.

Massive apologies re my other thread, from the title of which an r was omitted - thread title was of course meant to be about live STREAMING, but ended up saying STEAMING!
As it's only attracted one response, perhaps people don't realise how exciting it might be -
I wrote that the Comic Relief website seems to say it's having Live Streaming ONLINE - ie on the Internet!

LIVE STREAM Here, BBCi site & interactive".
Below that it says:
"All latest news & clips BBCi".
But that last bit seems the only clickable thing;
and it just leads to <www.bbc.co.uk/fameacademy>
with the CFA intro we saw there weeks ago;
and at the moment even the photos there don't load.
Online live streaming would be marvellous -

gazza - I believe it's because The CBBC Channel uses the same bandwidth as BBC3 to save money so they can't both broadcast at the same time (CBBC ends at 7pm)
