“apparantly kwarme has already had a single released.”

Oh, he really is this versions "Lemar" then. Lovely voice, but as someone pointed out, it's a sad song that doesn't need that kind of performance imo. When WIll sang it on Pop Idol, he looked like he was about to cry. That's what the song deserves. The way Will sang "Hey you gotta leave the young thing alone" is still the best I've ever heard anyone sing that part of the song.

Kwame is like Lemar as well in that he's got a great voice (although I doubt he's got Lemars range), but doesn't quite know how to deliver a song like a true soul singer like Otis Redding would. Or maybe he does, and it was just nerves. Still, I'd lose performances like that when I'm singing a heartfelt song. If I could sing.

Fearne had a nice tone to her voice, but was flat so many times it was hard to listen to. Could do well tomorrow though. Got a feeling Jo Brand will win that vote though.

Awww....what a shame Mags, and cheers, it's nice to see you back as well.

I did not appreciate Lemar's voice - but I can appreciate Kwarne's. You could hear every word and my other half even mentioned it sounded like "velvet" ... very smooth and easy to listen to ....

Can you imagine what this guy could do with a bit of training?

Even the other 'students' recognise this

Oh he's great, but I also appreciated Lemars voice. Lemars problem was that he tried to cover so many octaves in each performance, that we never got to just hear what a beautiful tone he had.

The other students in the Academy all appreciated Lemars voice btw.

I still think Malachi had the most beautiful tone to his voice, but that never really came through on the live shows either.
