hello

i have a Portable Onn DAB/FM which i got from asda for just over thirty quid.

i cant figure out how to reset it, i have done scans in York and London and it has stored the stations from both areas.

I have tries doing what the instructions say which is to hold 'Auto Scan' until 'Full Scan is desplayed, then it does its scan but does not get rid of the other stations on the list.

Any ideas?

One of the following may work...

Press "Menu", Select "Factory Reset"

Press "Menu", Select "Station Order", Select "Prune Stations"

Hope you've sorted it.

I've had a similar issue today with two different ASDA DAB Radios.

The solution was

Press Display - Display - Select. This started a system reset.

if you want to do a reset , its simple , no need for a manual , unplug the power socket and hold the enter button whilst plugging back in the power supply, clears the list and resets the local dab stations........simples..

I've got a DAB radio from Lidl, had it for a good few years, and it's got some stations from London, Glasgow and the North West on the list. Have tried many tricks (including those in this thread), and nothing resets the list!

Guessing it's the same firmware.

if its the one im thinking of , the silvercrest beech effect one ...
1. Remove the mains plug or the batteries.
2. Hold the button SELECT i pressed,
while you reinsert the mains plug or
the batteries.
3. Hold the button SELECT i pressed,
until „System reset“ appears on the
display.
4. The DAB commences the station
search.
You can now use the DAB radio as
described.

if not the right radio , go here and find the right model and instructions for a factory reset , hope this helps.
