Cat mentioned that the voting had made £90,000 for comic relief.
At 10p a call going towards CR, then I make that 900,000 total votes cast. In one hour!. Thats a lot, comparable to the opening stages of Big Brother, which has voting over 5 days.

I wonder what the viewing figures were?, anyone know what % of viewers actually vote?.

I think it was 15p from each, so it was only 600,000 who voted.

£36,000 went to the phone companies and stuff, the other £54,000 to Comic Relief.

It's not all voting though, some could have been people signing up for text alerts.
