Virgin internet through pc
Hello. I cannot seem to answer.
My phone can be used as a modem. Is it possible to connect to the internet. I did this on o2 contract a while back and i am now on virgin payasyougo is it possible to connect? I rang customer services and they didnt even know what i was going on about. |

Yes it should possible. But Virgin don't seem to support data.
Use the Virgin WAP settings. They also charge by the kb so may not be the most cost effective mobile provider to use. |

It does work, but it isn't supported by Virgin at all. When i was with Virgin it was very expensive. About £7 a megabyte.

This is an expensive method of connecting to the internet, but can be useful when you are out and about. The Onspeed internet accelerator is very useful for this method, as it compresses the data before it goes across the network, thus reducing the charges considerably (as well as speeding up the connection).
