So does everyone take their digital photos to the chemists?

I think plenty people have photo quality printers at home (I do), not sure that many will have a full-on 'photo lab'.

With a bit of mucking about with the printer setup, I can produce photos as good as I'd expect back from Boots and the like .... up to about 8x6 size anyway. Haven't attempted anything larger than that.

My printer is nothing special ... a year and a bit old Epson R200 (which currently needs new ink).

I use a mixture of a (now very old) Epson Stylus Photo EX, and www.photobox.co.uk

What exactly is a 'home photo lab'?

Isnt that what they call it when you print them from a home printer? I havent ventured into the digital camera era yet.

Nah. It just means you have a photo quality printer.

A "home photo lab" implies something a tad more substantial ....
