Dancing on Ice is going on tour. I wonder why there's no SCD on tour. I'm sure some of the pros would be able to do it even though they have other interests.

Do any of the SCD pros ever appear on Royal Variety Performances?

try to avoid Royal Variety as is awful in general, but it would be fab with an SCD pro dance
(or a Mark and Karen Salsa )

I would imagine it would put off a lot of the celebs if they were contracted to do it. For example Mark has the cricket season, Louisa is now in The Bill etc etc. It might end up being all z-listers who are desperate to be in the public eye as much as possible.

If you remember Jill and Darren , Ian and Denise and Erin and Julian
appeared briefly on the 2004 VP .
They danced ,a littlebit ,whilst Michael Buble sang and I think Jill did an intro , I can't remember if the others did .

I don't know , but I do remember it wasn't for more than 30 seconds or so .

I love the celebs to death but most of them are 'resting' or over the hill in their main career. I think they start rehearsals for SCD in September so have to commit to 4 months anyway. It would only be another month.

It's certainly a missed opportunity. I checked DOI at Wembley and it was £35 a ticket to be in a back section!

I think it's good that SCD doesn't tour, it keeps enthusiasm for the show flowing, and everyone is just as eager to see it return in September.

I think a stricty tour would be great because dancing with the stars did a tour around the usa
