Has anyone got any information on when this is going to be and who's going to be doing it?
All i know so far is that it will be hosted by Graham Norton again, and Andrew Lloyd Webber will be on the panel.
Wouldn't it be good if Donny Osmond was on the panel, since he starred in the film.

Panel is Denise Van Outen, John Barrowman, Zoe Tyler and Bill Kenwright.

12 boys in 8 shows. Preceded by two preliminary shows.

Starts 31 March, replacing "Strictly Dance Fever" as the lead-in to "Doctor Who" (which also returns that Saturday).

"Starting on March 31, two pre-recorded shows will cover the audition process, callbacks and the series of lessons at “Joseph school”, before the 12 selected finalists face a public vote over the following eight weeks."

So that's why the BBC dragged this so far forward in the schedule! Damn - why do they have to go head to head? I'd have liked to watch both. Why do these stupid schedulers force us to choose? It's such a pointless ego trip!
Does the BBC really consider it to be a public service, to make a show and then deliberately transmit it at exactly the same time as another programme, designed to appeal to precisely the same audience, is on?
I'd have thought it unwise of the BBC to deliberately draw attention to the fact that they're so similar to the competition when they're the only ones getting a licence fee.

Funny I thought the BBC one was first on, and it's scheduled AFTER "Doctor Who" so the ball is in ITV's court.

Is that so? All I know is that Any Dream was originally planned for much later in the year (think 'Maria'). Having heard of the imminent arrival of both shows on the same day, I assumed they were going head to head. If that's not the case, I withdraw my rant and will continue to pay my licence fee. However, I'd still rather have had them on in different periods. I don't know how much of this kind of stuff my other half can take!

They don't even start the same Saturday. You really should do some research before going off the deep end.

Okay – no need to rub it in. An earlier poster mentioned there was going to be a ratings war with Grease Is The Word. I happened to know that the original schedule date for Any Dream had been very suddenly moved back. I still believe the two are related and I still don't think that's ideal scheduling for viewers, even if they are screened at different times of the evening. Do you?
