All this talk about Daniel's previous performing experience has made me look at the BBC site - has anyone else noticed that Rob talks about when he played Joseph before and how one of his hobbies is local operatics? (The link is http://www.bbc.co.uk/joseph/josephs/rob.shtml) I'm not disputing the builder story, but he obviously has way more singing experience than they're letting on.

I thought the point about Rob was he had no training or professional experience? Not that he never sang before.

Why was Chris in the bottom two? You don't get comments like his and then end up in the bottom two! Its just wrong....
and John said he was the best! Johndeep had no chance

Well it depends whether the voting public agree with the panel! He did nothing for me, so I can see why he ended up in the bottom 2 (though Ben was far worse).

I agree with you, though I'm not sure why. Just a spark that wasn't there somehow.

Was surprised by the bottom 2, but knew Johndeep would go once the result was announced.

Thought it should have been Craig and Ben again in the bottom two.

I've only just seen this and I think it's really interesting. It just shows that the BBC likes to put its own slant on things, giving the impression that some people are complete amateurs straight off the streets (Rob), and therefore somehow more worthy than others (Lee, Daniel).
