How do y'all remember the names? I must be getting old!
I've really liked the curly haired, 35 yr old voice coach (wow has he got a portrait of himself in the attic?) & the other darker, curly haired, understudy guy right from the beginning.
However when they showed the vids before their performances what a big-headed, arrogant, ego maniac that older geezer came across; it really put me off him - then he sang & I could not help it I melted .
The other one disappointed me, I suppose it is because he is a professional already so I expected the "wow" factor. He's still cute tho .
I'm not going to vote until I see some acting, dancing & them all performing some real, musical theatre stuff. It's no good if they look lovely & sing like a nightingale but dance like a stiff & can't act their way out of a paper bag is it?

Fav so far Lee & Daniel...Daniel reminds me of young Mandy Patinkin somehow (acto.r /singer on film, tv & stage).

Terrible results for Grease, I am close to dumping that show if it doesn't improve this week, Joseph is so much better.

I did read that ITV have made a late change to their schedules and from this week will put GITW directly against Any Dream Will Do - so fans of both shows will be annoyed.

It's obvious which one will come on top though.

Well I would hope so. Radio Times site hasnt changed yet though so they still might not be in direct competition for one more week.

Not at all. Should he comes up against someone like Lee, Daniel, Seamus, or even that Keith then you can bet your bottom dollar LLW will Lewis.

And he will get to the bottom 2 as he's ome of the weakest singers & the BBC ADWL voting public are far more sensible voters than Simon Cowell's formula.

Olivia Newton-John was 33 when she played Sandy.

My sister is nearly 43 and with the right hairstyle, clothes and natural looking make-up can pass for 20.”

She was actually 25 when she played Sandy.

Wrong. I think you're getting a bit confused between the ages of both leads

Grease was released in late 1978.

Olivia Newton John was (debatably) born in 1948. Therefore (debatably) 30.

John Travolta was born in 1954. Therefore 24.

That explains why all of ONJ's close-ups are in soft focus.

I dumped Grease halfway through the first show.

Shame because I like David Gest.

Does he have pretty boy looks? Why is he hiding them so well behind that Worzel Gummidge hair and Skeletaur face then?

Why are they singing contemporary songs to star in a musical that is nearly 40 years old? I thought Chris C sang better when he was on his way out.

I do think that they should be singing songs which show off their musical theatre voice each week (I felt the same with Maria). It would be a lot easier for people to vote. But i guess they don't want the show to be boring. *shrugs*

Another correction called for, I think.

Did you mean ADWD, not ADWL?

Could be to see how good their voice ranges are on different genre and their stage presence in the delivery of the song which is all to do with how good their acting skills are.

I think apart from 1 or 2 guys the rest of them have theatrical voices already...must be to do with their background.

Just posted the same over on the ADWD video thread, but is anybody else finding that they get the message "this video has been removed by the user" when they try and watch the vids of Saturday nights performances on Youtube?
