Ok, Ive got Sky Plus and its wonderful!
Ive got a Pana Plasma and its wonderful!

How do I go about getting Sky Plus HD? Does it involve more cables and a new dish?
Does it cost more to purchase and to subscribe?

Is it worth it?

Who's gone there?

Try this forum, it should contain all you need.

I have it and watch about 2 programs a week and record a few HD films.

Had HD installed in May.

You can ring Sky or book an install through an electrical retail shop, Comet, Curry's.

Installers will look at the installation you have now, buy rights they should change the LNB, cables, but think this depends on how old the installation is.

I paid £299 for the box, but I have just recently seen a post where it states the trade price has come down, so recommend you look around first, should get it for around £199 from march.

If you go for multiroom I believe the install is free. You will be charged an extra £10 for the HD sub and I think £10 for multiroom.

HD channels are - Sky One HD, Movies 9HD and 10HD, Nat Geo HD, Discovery HD, History HD, Artworld HD Sky Sports 1 and 2 HD, SBO 1 and 2 HD, BBC HD (Trial service).

Depends on your package deal to which HD channels you will receive. If on the full package you will get all the HD channels.

Is it worth it - For me yes. The jump in picture quality for both screens I have has been excellent. If you love watching wildlife, football, movies and programmes like Lost, 24, Rescue Me, Bones it is well worth the extra lay out.
