I think that while it has been good, it has also been unrealistic in parts. When he was driving on the roads we only saw one other car when you would expect to see many more than that. Also I didn't understand why they sent a trafic police car to the Street rather than a normal Patrol car. The trafic police car should have been chasing him. Shame they are having everyone escape, because hostages seem to always escape, why can't they die every now and then to spice things up?

I thought it was brilliant! That wee girl is such a good little actress isn't she, pretending to be asleep... bless her.

I have to agree with previous posters, it was a great episode last night. The best bit of comedy I've seen on TV for ages.

Was funny to see the return of the "Norman Bates with a briefcase" line!

Wonder if they had been reading one of the previous threads with all the great one-liners we were posting lol

I thought the whole episode was fantastic.
I laughed from the beginning to the end. However, was it supposed to be a comedy? It was good, completely over the top. I really enjoyed it, but it was so fuuny.

I will probably never watch Coronation Street again now that the Hillman saga is over.

The guy who plays Martin Platt was on GMTV the morning that episode was shown and he said that there was some comedy entwined into it.

You can't take Richard COMPLETELY seriously - he's always got that twinkle in his eye when he's being really bad. Like a pantomime baddie. I think it's great!

Apparantly tonights episode is more like a short film rather than a normal episode. (This was said on GMTV by the actress that plays Sarah).

I wonder if it will have the filmic look, that most people love to hate?
