Anti-war song set to go top ten
There's a news article about this here
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/a4...or-top-10.html but no thread as far as I can see. How many downloads would this need to hit the hallowed top ten, or even the number one spot? Has anyone here downloaded it? |

I'm not sure how many downloads it would take to hit the top ten/number one. That depends of course on how many people download the other songs!
I have downloaded it; it is a nice idea, if a little misguided. If the charts were a true referendum, Skankilera or Westlife would be our political leaders :|. |

It didn't even make the top 20 - but did make the top 40 so Ugly Rumours are set to be just another one hit wonder in the next edition of The Guinness Book Of British Hit Singles.

It's made the Top 40 - but I can't see this being anymore than a one-off.

See, that's the problem. You make a record and declare it a "musical referendum" on Tony Blair, and then the record is a complete failure. They have now given the War in Iraq their own seal of approval. The mad fools.
