Horizontal hold problem

The horizontal hold on appears to have gone wonky on our Digihome PVR. Everything, including the menus is rapidly scrolling sideways. It started about 20 seconds after I paused using timeslip. Our terrestial channels are fine, so it's definitely the PVR and not the TV.

I've tried everything I can think of, including complete power down, and am rapidly approaching my wits end!

Any suggestions, other than setting fire to the box or hitting it with a lump hammer would be much appreciated.

Wow I thought the Scart thing was fairly obvious but I never realised that burning these boxes or hitting them with lump hammers was effective. This is great news, I can't wait to put my new found techno knowledge to use around my house. Now where is that PC...
