I was watching them rehearse their duet for tonight on the live feed this morning and they seem to be getting on a lot better. As you say Tara was clapping and praising Colin when he got his vocals right - She's a very supportive, kind girl.

I think it would do Tara the world of good if she came to know that she had support from various internet forums such as this one ....

A lot of people like her for what she is ... warts n all!

I agree she needs more support than anyone in there because her confidence is so fragile. Even on here though there are plenty of people who can't seem to leave her past behind for the duration. I am afraid she is just going to rely on the tutors.

Did you watch BBC3 last night when Angellica was saying that the person she bonded with most was Tara. She went on to say how kind Tara was and that she couldn';t believe Tara gave her one of her tracksuits. That girl Sara just dismissed it and said but Angellica she can afford it, as if to say that the sentiment doesn't mean anything because Tara is loaded.

Tara was later speaking with Tricia and saying that she is going to make sure that she gives Angellica and her husband a lovely honeymoon on one of those remote islands.

Even though she can afford something, I'm sure she wouldn't do it if she didn't have a kind heart.

Her detractors will say that Tara is trying to buy affection though - they always do! I agree that even if she can afford to pay for these things, she only offers from the best of motives, but in the past it's backfired on her. Undoubtedly people have used her in the past, and she has a problem deciding who is genuine and who is using her for what she can give them.

I hope her sessions with Jeremy are useful and that she listens to his views - although I'd rather he talked to her off camera than just trying to drum up interesting late night live footage for the viewers

Exactly. In fact you often find that people with money are quite tight with their objects and money.

I do hope it isn't because Tara feels the need to buy people's friendships though. (i'm not a detractor btw )

Another thing about Tara is that she is full of praise for the others and makes them feel better about themselves.

Jeremy as far as I can recollect is NOT a trained psychologist or psychiatrist ...

He is there (imo) to get footage and ask those leading questions which will responses like "I want to win now ... " or to get students crying ...

I think Tara has always had a fair few supporters since her days in Im a Celeb. However, she does not seem aware of this.

That is the worry - especially late at night when they're a bit emotional and knackered from their early start - he knows which buttons to push to provoke extreme reactions, crying being his speciality!

I don't know whether he is qualified or not - he's a life coach of sorts and when he isn't trying to sensationalise everything he talks a lot of sense. Tara needs supportive guidance, and strategies to cope with her low self esteem and vulnerability.

Just seen the choice of songs - does not look good at all. When I think Carpenters I think insipid/bland/boring - basically fodder for Radio2 before it re-invented itself - just about as far removed from what she needs now as you could imagine. Very hard to see many younger viewers being impressed. Shaun and Tricia have got typically Shaun and Tricia songs. I have liked Colin's choice of songs second only to Tara and he has a much better oldie. I don't know Ray's song but it is odds on it isn't vocally challenging. All in all it looks ominous - again.

Yeah I know but they all know that too. During his sessions you can often hear them being told to do that part again. The students are aware of what is going on when they are called into Jeremy's office for a chat. It works in their favour too because they can put out any soundbites that they think will help them.

I'm sure she is. Her life changed substantially as a result of the unexpected support that she gained in I'm a Celeb. How could she not be aware of it?

Well probably to with the fact that she seems genuinely shocked that she is getting the support she is, as noted by Carrie amongst others. Perhaps she feels people's opinions of her changed again since Im a Celeb.

Did any of the others explain to Tara her line about doing a Scissors sister

I think the format of the semi-final show will not be in Tara's favour (see *spoiler Twist thread).

If we assume that Colin (most likely) leaves tonight, then tomorrow nights show (semi final) will have the twist of ALL the past students selecting one of the finalists, thus effecting a double elimination. They are pretty certain to select whichever of Shaun or Tricia did not get the highest public vote.

Unless Tara gets the most public votes on Thursday's show, she is very unlikely to make the Final night show.

The final looks likely to be between Ray (highest public vote) and Shaun (voted in by the majority of students), with Tricia and Tara both being eliminated tomorrow night.

I agree. Although the only thing that gives me hope is that most of the people who have left (fred, Angellica, Mel and Tim) have all said they want Tara to win.

I don't know about that. A lot of the evicted students have said they'd like Tara to win..

Seems there are a lot of different performances tonight, and I haven't yet been able to make sense of it. Tara has her solo number, a duet with Colin (which might also make a big difference), and Colin, Tricia and Shaun are currently practicing something with Lemar with no sign of Tara or Ray.

Like you, I'm worried about the Carpenters song. It's too much like her other emotional ones. But I've been wrong about the songs before.

Who would thought she'd do that Nancy Sinatra so well??

Sorry to disagree but I believe given the song choice Tara is the most likely to leave. The best chance she has is if Ray ends up the three again - Craig will definitely save her, Lesley will wait for the audience to help her and Parky will save Ray but I don't see the students, other than Colin being stupid enough to save Ray. They may not say it but they all must be wondering why such a complete duffer is still in with them.

Ability wise a last four of Tara, Colin, Shaun and Tricia would be the right result.

The BB3 show seems back to being anti-Tara after days when I thought it wasn't. Angelica, Katrina, and the fashion guy all praised her, but the presenters underminded it each time. (I'd thought it was always Dom (?) doing that, but you may be right that it was Sarah with Angelica's comment.) Guest Ninia seemed very hostile to Tara, reminding me of how some guests had been in the early days.

Fortunately, Katrina (of the Waves) was very positive, even comparing Tara to Carole King! She said it was a very moving performance, you can fault the notes, you can fault the tone, but you cannot fault the intention of her feelings and the emotion ... every single note she sings is really from the heart. She kind of reminds me of Carole King (incredulity from Ninia and Dom) ... people will love you more if you actually mean it and your intention is true.
